Da Bear

We were walking around Mosquito Cove the other day and came across a couple of piles of this:

But no bear.
A friend of Kirsty's said she saw a young bear out at the estuary (across the way from the bear poop we found), so we headed out about 8 pm to take a look. We found a young bear, eating about the only food available to him at this time of year: grass. He was about 50 yards away and not bothered at all by our presence. Sorry for the blurry pics, but the light was fading.

The Rangers have closed off the boardwalk around the estuary because this bear has apparently taken up residence here. Don't know how that is going to play out as the year goes on. The bears come into this area to feed, but don't stay. He is very young though, and may be scared off. Notice the white tips of the ears!

Peace my friends!
