This and That

Winding down the Scottish walkabout and heading south back to Yorkshire tomorrow. There has been mischief afoot in the pond with a mink (as the likely culprit), killing three ducks. Traps have been set and the remaining duck and goose are being locked up at night. The peacock, which we can't catch, so far has eluded the mink, much to our annoyance. In case you are wondering, peacocks are noisy.

We took a stroll along the River Tweed just outside of Peebles the other day. It is a great river for fishing, and the banks are ideal for strolling.

View of the Niedpath Castle from the river.

A little stucco and a new coat of paint and it will be fine.

 Old railroad bridge.

A few pictures from around the Grange:

Anyone know how to wrangle a peacock?

 Poppy opening up.

A little bit of beauty for you my friends!

Peace
