. . .we are not in Italy anymore. We flew from Palermo to Paris, then took the train to Antwerp, Belgium the following day. It is sooooo nice to eat something other than pasta!!
We are going to spend a few days in Antwerp, then head for Amsterdam for two days, then fly back to the US of A.
It is very cold here, and our flip flops and shorts aren't getting any use. We are wearing most of our clothes while out and about, trying to stay warm.
There are about a bazillion bicycles here in Antwerp. This is a small train station by our apartment and there are 10 times as many bikes as in this picture parked around it.
