Besalú

Kirsty suggested we stop in Besalu on our way back to Figueres. We were pleasantly surprised by the look and feel of the small town, especially the old bridge. Serendipity!

I posted a comment about the size of the Frenchmen's poles last year, but this Spaniard has them all beat! I thought I had the entire pole in the frame, but there are a few more inches missing. He could just stick a fork on the end and spear the fish!

This is a picture of wood anemones from the walk earlier in the volcanic park. There were white and purple ones, and this one, which is a combination of the two.
