Cape Point Holo Holo

We went for a wander down to the tip of the Cape Peninsula to see what the southern-most tip of Africa impostor looked like. We lucked out as the wind was way down, the rain stayed off the coast, and the hordes in tour busses started to arrive as we left. Beautiful views for sure!

The Cape of Good Hope (the point at the top of the picture) viewed from the lighthouse at the Cape Point. That is Dias Beach in the middle of the picture.

 Aloe flowers.

View over the tip of Cape Point towards Antarctica.

Met a troop of about 30 baboons heading back out of the park. One doesn't want to stop or they will swarm your car looking for food. A bit of slow prodding usually works to get them to move.

 Very clear water here.

Not many flowers this time of year.

 Plenty of lichen though.

Lots of orange and yellow in the rocks here.

View back towards Fish Hoek (a few Capes that away!).

Cape Point.

Goofballs!

Peace my friends!
