Silver Falls State Park

I escaped over the border from the California to the People's Republic of Oregon yesterday. Immediately my stress level plummeted. Must be something in the air.

I made my way to Silver Falls State Park just east of Salem. No service in the campground, so this blog will be short as the only place is a bit away and slow as molasses. I promise to update the Yosemite and this post when I get to Seattle.

Really. Trust me.

Here are a few more pics of the South Falls to show you some of the splendor of this place. South Falls, below, is 177 ft tall.

Behind the falls.

The park is in a Rain Forest.

Creek behind my tent.

Bye for now, peace.
